I'm saying uranium one is conspiracy theory with absolutely no teeth to it. The deal had to go through multiple committees with many people sitting on many boards and was approved in the same way any other deal of that type would likely be approved.

If you're going to paint Russia as your mortal enemy, you don't sell 20% of your uranium to Russia. Regardless of how big a role Hillary had, and she did have a role.

Who is, "you"? "You", in this case, is not me or any one particular person. It was many people on many different committees and likely never even crossed Hillary's desk but was handled by someone at a lower level in that particular office, being just one of many offices the deal went through.

And.... for that matter, who is, "your"? You are suggesting, "your" is either me, or the U.S. government.

Unless you think the U.S. government is a socialist republic, (which you might, many Republicans are getting this confused lately) the uranium was owned by a company, not the U.S. government. Unless you feel the U.S. government should take ownership of any company they choose, this kind of transaction between companies is considered normal practice in a free market economy.

Well, my point is the connection between politicians and business people to put profit over the interests of their fellow country men. I do think Hillary's role in this is a little overblown, but it still is hypocrisy when you're going to slam the country after dealing with them. I think this type of uranium should be in the interest of any country to take it more seriously, as it is a rare commodity.

You can deal with any people while also knowing full well who you are dealing with. You don't meet craigslist buyers in a back alley to buy and sell things.

Again, this is the basis of a free market economy. Unlike putting tariffs on goods you feel threaten your own companies because they can be made for less somewhere else. Like I said, some Republicans are confusing government control, socialism and what creates a free market economy. It was those on the right that determined companies were people. Funny how now, suddenly these companies should be completely controlled by the government. I guess it depends on who's benefiting.
