If these people can't work together. Maybe it's time to get new people in there.

I think members of congress should be limited to a max of 16 years in office (2 presidents) and Scotus limited to 24 years. Elections don't seem to effective as a means to clean house - or Senate. ;)

and make it impossible for those leaving congress to walk right into the lobbyist industry.

I find it disturbing,and a tad immoral,that an elected official can turn around and parlay their time in congress,and the political connections they make and turn it into a multi-million dollar career,exploiting those connections for the betterment of those who already wield far too much influence on our legislative body.

meh..probably just a sunshiny daydream on my part.
