Guns killed 39,000 people in 2017. There were 869,000 abortions in 2017. How about good people minding their own business. Don't want a gun, don't buy one. Don't want an abortion, don't have one.

That number is largely made up of suicides, In fact it's 2/3 suicides.

I agree, 2/3rds are suicides. I was making the point that gun deaths total, even with suicides = 1/20th of abortions. Any normal person would take that as a positive on, "your" side, instead of accusing me as a lib that needs fact checking. What the hell is wrong with you people?

Abortions will happen, even if it's illegal. Just like before Roe v Wade. Just like before Roe v Wade. Gun crimes happen even with gun laws. Gun violence happens, even in places that outlaw guns.

Guns don't kill anybody. People use guns, knives, bats, and other objects to kill people. An inanimate object does not on its own kill without a person using that object. A truer statement would be, people use guns to kill other people....

Abortion, on the other hand, is a person requesting or performing an act that results in the death of another living being.

Aren't guns also a way a person performs an act that results in the death of another living person?
