That's nothing here in the the UK cop cars are being painted with rainbow flags, cops in the city of Bristol including the so called male ones painted their nails blue to show solidarity with the LGBTQEREDGSF community
I think the solidarity bit clouds the issue. It raises the question about whether they are a-solidaritous (to coin a word) towards anyone else. Maybe the answer is "obviously not" but you still have to answer the question and probably defend your answer. It's much cleaner to play it apolitical.
Just my little joke, but it's heading that way. As a bonus laugh UK cops talked to a 70 yo women who tweeted that there are only 2 genders they said she needs to rethink her attitudes, that's how f**ked up the UK is
