If my primary reason for being here wasn't just to have some fun, I might complain a bit more. I have only contacted once about a meme not being featured, as I knew it was one that shouldn't have been considered controversial in any way (my contact was ignored, btw).
Most times, if a submitted meme is hanging in limbo, I will wait a few days, remove it and re-submit in the hopes a different Mod is on call that day. This usually has worked out. But it is also this which has convinced me that yes, there must be some form of bias at work behind the scenes. A shame really. I read political memes all the time I don't agree with, and unless they are nasty or an obvious incitation to violence or hate, just ignore them. Thus I am left wondering why Mods can't extend the same courtesy?
