I'd say that's a fair assessment. Big on free speech. 1/4 Korean so he hates identity politics but calls out both sides for what he disagrees with. Kind of like a Dave Rubin. But he covered occupy wall street and is actually a journalist with integrity. He grilled the hell out of the twitter ceo dorsey on the joe rogan show. Worth checking out, especially if you want a fair report but from a left perspective on issues from both sides.
Don't agree with him all the time but i can tell it's not some partisan thing, he stands by his principals and actually wants to bridge the gap between the right and the left, which we need more of, in these times.
