So when purchasing a gun, those who pull out their "I'm a criminal" ID cards can't buy any?
Cerebral cortex, remember? Cerebral cortex.

Background checks for high power weapons are already a thing. Rather than an "I'm a criminal card" people should have an "I'm not a criminal" card or have that integrated into their drivers license. I don't have a problem with that.
They can put my height and weight on a dl, they can put whether I've robbed someone at gun point in the mag strip.
Yeah, "I'm not a criminal card" is a wondrous idea. Same as with a list of every single time you broke the law, traffic violations included. Right blinker not working one time 12 years ago, no license for you, Mr Gangsta.

Then no background checks. There isn't much of a middle ground. I say it's up to a vote.
Yes, right up until that lawful citizens shoots dead 50 people in las vegas or walks into a school and murders 20 kids.
Please tell us, how to spot these felons before dead kids appear all the news yet again.

Bruh, that's the CIA. Get rid of the CIA and you get rid off mass shootings.
Did you know that anti gun obama had 3x the average amount of mass shootings occur while he was president?
Did you know he gave guns to illegal immigrants to 'see what would happen' and those guns ended up being used to kill Americans?
Did you know the father of the man in charge of the Arizona compound that was training kids to be school shooters was invited to the DNC in 2012 for the first ever Jummah to be the Grand Imam?
Mass shooters are made, not born. Guns aren't the problem.
I didn't say that. I'm conservative, but I don't follow the herd on everything that I'm supposed to. These conservatives you claim to know aren't too bright when it comes to their ideas on gun regulations. You do know about the 2nd amendment, right?
you just jumped in to the deep end with only your presumption floaties on.
ever consider that I am talking about my family?
ever consider that my family are country folk?
who have had guns since they were out of diapers?
that maybe they are prominent people in the community, and council members in their church?
and that maybe my oldest brother has been a gun safety advocate for 50 years? and teaches local youth groups in three states gun safety.
it never even occurred to you to ask what "sensible gun control" meant to them?
maybe they want to close the gun show loophole?
maybe they want deeper background checks, and a few days more wait time to uncover of that applicant has mental issues (considering that most gun deaths are due to suicide).
maybe every proposal they are in favor of is rooted in strong, christian conservative morals.

I'm not talking about gun safety. I believe in learning about your weapon. I have no problems with that. You said gun regulations and I'm against the government telling me what I can and cannot do. If that's not what you were talking about, then I'm sorry.

Also, guns aren't the problems, it's people with mental issues that's the problem.
legislators enacting laws that make specific criteria in order to purchase and own any fire-arm,is very much "regulations".
and just for the record,i am not anti-gun.
2nd amendment and all that jazz.
having a family who loves their guns really helps put things in perspective.
which is why I was specific with my words "sensible".
and no need to apologize, though appreciated,i make assumptions as well.
I am not in some ivory tower impervious to jumping the gun.
lol..i do it all the time :)
im calling for a complete removal of all gun regulation laws my son should not have to feel in danger because he is not allowed to bring a gun into school
i was but they m*ssed up
by the way thanks for the tip, i was gonna debate ben shapiro, and i was afraid i was going to lose, but thanks to you, i can win simply saying that hes younger than me, thatll make me right pray hands emoji
My feelings were not hurt. You saying your armpits smell like man cream is personal and really shouldn’t be made public, at least not in a forum like this
Gun theft, you mean. Gun control is more like allowing citizens to have reasonable firearms (handguns, shotguns, and rifles), while enforcing the gun laws we already have to crack down on illegal gun sales. Gun theft is saying that nobody is allowed to have a gun (which is very dangerous).
