Captain Picard Facepalm Meme | YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ECONOMICS | image tagged in memes, captain picard facepalm | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Trump has actually slowed the debt down from what it was actually moving. Barack Obama inherited a 9 trillion dollar debt and when he left office, it was at 19 trillion. Most of what you see now is from Bush and Obama.

But don't let facts...you know...hit you in the ass too hard.

His quote and the rate of National Debt increase are all the facts I need. It's still goin' up. It ain't goin' away. I wonder if Trump will be saying "Just give me four more years and I promise I'll work on that".

Here's a quote from Mick Mulvaney, Trump's appointee for OMB Director about the National Debt.

"Nobody cares"

Do you care about the National Debt?

Do I care about the national debt? lol! Ummm, yeah... Do you believe the Snyder would have gone down under a socialist president?

Lol, you're funny.

Glad you're laughing. Rick Snyder? Carolyn Snyder? John Wesley Snyder? Michael Snyder?

How about Trump and his quote instead.

I asked you a question and all you want to focus on is a typo.

Your correction was not there when I replied.

No, but I don't think it would have gone down to zero in eight years if another candidate were elected.

Were they saying they would get rid of the National Debt in eight years?

Every president in the past several decades have increased spending. At this point, it's not about decreasing spending (because that'll never happen) it's about slowing down and not spending money on things that are worthless. I could name so many leftist AND rightist(?) worthless programs that do nothing but waste money, but I'll just leave it there. You know, cause this is a meme site and I don't feel like it.

Trump is literally the first to increase it at such high levels when not faced with funding a war or an economic downturn.

Mind you, he wished to tack a helluva lot more money for his wall alone. Then there's Space Farce, his military parade to honor him on the new July 4th holiday, and whatever other bizarro land ideas he's whipped up.

I know, it's hard to believe. I keep waiting to wake up from this screwball comedy.

Then there's the $1.3 trillion hole left by the tax cut yet to be felt.

Bottom line, none of them care.
Except Ron Paul. He would have trimmed away.

I may have misunderstood what you meant, but wasn't July 4th a holiday beforehand?

Trump wanted to establish a July 4th Military Parade as a new tradition, as if the day wasn't celebrated already.

Ah. Thanks for clearing that up.

That's very stupid, and a waste of money.

A total vanity thing, and something only dictators - usually Communists - do.
But Congress wouldn't approve it at least.

That's good. Why waste money you can use for something logical?

Nice manipulative graphic.

It turns a real 20% into a fake 100% with the magic of truncation.
3 ups, 6y
The quote from Trump is real. Keep focusing on the empty space you don't see in the graphic. It suits you.

One person controls the money?

I thought the President submits a Budget Request, Congress eventually turns that into Appropriations Bills, then the President signs those.

More like Trump's sitting on his hands about getting rid of debt. 2020. Tick Tock.

Don't believe me , ask Nancy

Large tax cuts, increased spending and a growing trade deficit. It is like America needs to get a businessman to be President, who understands budgets....

It's Above 22 Trillion Now Already!!!
