The hypocrisy of the left never ceases to amaze me.

no offense my friend,but you cannot accuse the "left" of being a hypocrite and then engage in your own flavor of hypocrisy.

this is not a left/right issue,not directly at least.
political opportunists use evenst and situations to promote their own,specific agenda.

on the one hand we have the "left" jumping on those poor kids as being smug,over-privileged white boys,and how the media vultured on these poor kids for the sole purpose to promote their own political agenda was vile,vulgar and disgusting.

I had to witness that trainwreck in real time,and got condemned as an "alt-rightie" and other such nonsense.

conversely,the right leaning media has done the exact same thing with ilhan omar.painting her evaluation of AIPAC being "all about the benjamins" as somehow translating to "anti-Semitism",which would be akin to accusing "americans for prosperity" as a Nazi organization.

the right leaning also attempted to use omar's 2014 comments on how isreal "had hypnotized the world" which was in direct reference to isreal killing almost 200 innocent civilians as being "anti-Semitic",when in reality it is a direct observation of war crimes perpetrated by the isreali government,and was condemned by the UN as actual "war crimes".

so I guess,from my standpoint, I see the hypocrisy from both angles.
both from the left,and the right.

I have no problem with Omar calling out AIPAC or any organization, including Isreal. That is her right and in some instances, I agree that some policies of Isreal I find egregious.

The problem is that using phrases like "they had hypnotized the world" is a direct quote from Nazi propaganda in the 1930s. She never mentioned a policy of Isreal or the government of Isreal only the Jews. When you malign a whole people, that I have a problem with. Added to her past comments, it does seem she is anti-Semitic.

I also have a problem with quickness and intensity that the left and the MSM went after the kids but play down Omar and VA. Gov. Northam. It does seem they are overly biased and judgemental when it comes to the right.

and the "hypnotized the world" comment has me concerned as well,which is why I looked into it more and cited that it was from 5 years ago,and addressed a specific incident.so I got why some would think a certain way,but once you look into it a bit further,it becomes a little clearer.

that's how I took it anyways,you may look at it from a completely different angle.but that's why I think it is so important we talk with each other to get those different perspectives.
