It’s a basic us against them joke. The joke is on the kids that are making sure their hero can charge more for the ads the kids are forced to watch to see their hero. ;)

PewDiePie has more subscribers than T-series now, so they don't need to beg for more people. I don't get the big rivalry anyway: if you want to subscribe, don't let all this propaganda influence your decision :-)

It's about supporting the small original creators against being surpassed by large corporations. It's a symbol viewed as a major change in the YouTube community as corporations take over the platform. Granted Pewdiepie will eventually lose, but the goal is to get him to 100M before T-Series. It's only a symbolic effort, but I deem it a worthy one.

Maybe there should be a separate stream for advertising YouTube channels :-)
