You're not getting it, it's simple math and economics. The amount of drugs is too great to be carried thru the desert by mules. They're using planes boats and cars thru ports of entry. Not walking it thru the desert where a wall would be. Maybe you should TRY some drugs and expand that brain of yours.

There’s a bit of circular logic there. Drugs along the Southern border go through ports of entry, but if that’s because of walls that would mean that we have walls already.

We do have walls already. We want more walls because trafficking still occurs where there are gaps.

The question isn't where most drug smugglers are caught. The question is where most drug smugglers are getting through.

The most drugs are getting through in trucks at points of entry.

Trucks carry more and are much more efficient than packing small quantities on foot. This is the government’s own assessment.

This 34k lbs of coke was just siezed by the coastguard, $700mill or so. It's like that math question in school,

If Juan has 34 thousand pounds of coke, and want to bring it 200 miles at a pace of 50 miles a day thru the desert using 500 mules at 2 ltrs of water per mule per day each carrying 10 lbs, and Pedro wanted to move 34k lbs of product and put it on a cargo ship steaming at 50 nautical m/hr for 1000 miles how many days and litres of water will juan need, and who will get paid first?

Humans get trafficked through the border. The wall is about more than just drugs.

Personally, I find that bust to be extremely odd. If it's worth as much as you say it is then it was extremely careless of the seller to traffic it all at once. It would also be a significant chunk of the entire amount of drugs trafficked into the country every year. I feel it's more likely a setup of pre seized cocaine to draw attention away from the necessity of a wall.

If you think that is "all at once" you need to study up on your drugs, not tryna be mean here, but if you actually check it out, there's a f**k tonne more of drugs en route or already here. They plan for losing the odd shipment, cartels are rich, smart, rutheless, and ever evolving to match the evolution made by the anti drug networks of policing. This has bin going on for quite some time now aswell, nothing new.

Exactly the argument being made. The amount of drugs being smuggled is too large to be carried thru the desert accross the rio grande where a wall would be. They go by boat, plane, car. Not mules thru a desert on a horse with no name.

Not sure that's a good idea, we gonna havta shoot them after they're done delivery, Ya don't wanna get too attached , NO WITNESSES! Sorry.

They will come through in ANY way they can. So maybe the answer is bolstering security on all fronts, not just opting to give up and have a completely porous border.

Ah crap, I forgot. Carry on with the divisive isolationist silliness that perpetuates racist stereotypes then, MnMinPhx. I'll be over here, preparing for 2020.

Wow, so people like Eddie Murphy are decisive isolationists who perpetuate racist stereotypes with their walled in homes and gated communities. Hope you mean you’re preparing to get 20/20 vision because you’re sure blinded by leftist propaganda.

If you think home security and national security are the same thing, there's really nothing I can do for you.

If you think walls and fences perpetrate racist stereotypes, there’s nothing anybody can do for you.
