Bale actually played John Connor all growed up. They keep changing these people and who knows who is who anymore. Reese was still a kid in that one. Actually he was alright, just the first one was the best and the last one, the Genisys whatever I can't remember for crap. Nor that Sarah Connor either. No resemblance at all.

The first John Connor, Edward Furlong, was the worst part of an otherwise great movie. He really needed to shut up and go away. I have no idea why they picked him, because for future use in sequels, you can tell he's just going to grow up still annoying and whiny.

Nick Stahl as Connor in T3 was pretty cool. He's good for playing the reluctant hero, like in HBO's Carnivale which was great cept they ended it with the 2nd season with no wrap up.

Oh, yeah. Screwed that up. I thought the Reese in that was good but like you say, it's usually tough to up the original. I liked that one actually, the scene where they get waylayed at the gas station was what i always wanted to see in a terminator movie besides a whole movie on John and Kyle fighting in the apocalypse, like the 1st movies flashbacks (?). Never saw the Genisys one at all.
They picked him because of his face. No prior acting experience and it shows.

I too thought Salvation was good. Took 3 decades to get there, then they go backwards? Sheesh. I liked that big Terminator at the beginning with the busted ankle. The effects throughout were flawless.

The CGI'd young Arnold face on the new bod in the factory, you know this franchise will never end. Someday someone will do a whole reboot doing that.

Yeah, last I seen him was a SyFy movie abouta relaity show in a house and everyone was getting killed and I didn't watch the whole thing. He tries to sound all growling and look all menacing and it's sad

Where did that new T3 Terminator go? I thought she would be in more movies. She was wonderfully evil in a subdued way, like the T1000 was.

I got one last week from a three month old meme, THREE! And the OP was yapping at me because of something someone else said that wasn't even in line with what I said. I had to scroll up and down and check his comment history to figure out what he was crying about.

No worries here. I don't usually put an expiration date on replies, unless, like you said, someone is whining.

OOps, forgot. Yeah, I heard Bale was a tad difficult making it, but that's the first I actually heard him. I dunno, seems kinds f**ked up. These stars, it goes to their head and they get all spoiled. Then 2 years later no one remembers them anymore till they start making commercials for Pepsodent. Doubt they'll have tantrums on the set anymore at that point.

Bale's been acting since childhood and is more of a method actor so I can see why he'd snap because of someone's unprofessionalism. Kind of like how Hendrix lost it when Dave Mason from Traffic kept screwing up some simplistic barre chords when recording all along the watchtower. But yeah, you know what the guy is willing to go through for his films <----but that was beyond the pale.

Still, it's just spoiled behavior. Any other job, or an actor lower down on the rungs
