She's a horrible person, she wants healthcare for all, lower drug prices, higher marginal tax on the obcsenely rich, f**k, how can she live with herself
It's 70% on the annual revenue beyond 10 million right? Is the rate for the first 10 million 22%?
*Trying to figure out what the approx tax would be on 11 million*

This explains a lot.
Lets take Bill Gates, somebody who runs an international business. He could easily become a citizen in the Bahamas or Singapore to evade taxes like John Templeton and that Facebook co-founder. I found online that Bill Gates has earned $11.5 billion a recent year. Subtracting 10 million does almost nothing, and 11.5 billion *.7 is about 8 billion. So does that mean he ends up paying 8 billion dollars in taxes. That is ridiculous. Correct me if I'm wrong with these calculations- I dont pay taxes.
You're not wrong. 70% tax is at its simplest the government taking 7 dollars for every 10 you earn. It's highway robbery and anyone with wealth and half a brain will leave the country. That will CRIPPLE our economy. That article tries to pretend marginal tax rates are going to make it less brutal.. but that's a total lie when you compare it to people making say, 30 million or up. The wealth that gets taxed will almost entirely be taxed under the 70% rate. The article even admits that at 15 million it will be HALF your income.

Will it be by taxing the rich? Because the top 20% pay nearly 90% of all federal income tax.
true, but i see AOC as the donald trump of the left since no one on the opposing side has been able to make a perfect counter to her statements without mocking her appearance.

It should be known by now that politics was never a civil topic in the first place.
