Other sources, such as the US Treasury and independent experts claim the number to be ~$50 Billion. That money came from their unfrozen assets mostly, those being unfrozen due to the Iran Nuclear Deal. So its less Obama giving Iran free Cash and more like handing them their money back.

That is also untrue and funnily enough unrelated to the Iran nuclear Deal. In a deal struck before the 1970s revolution the Iranian government bought weapons from the US. They paid for them but the promised goods never arrived. While they only gave the US 55 Million dollars, the interest accumulated over the last 25 years easily raised the Summ to 1.7 Billion Dollars. That money was also returned to Iran. Though I cannot say more on that topic.

That was the money that was supposedly transported in Pallets and Barrels. That also didn't happen that way. As far as I can tell the money was transferred physically but not on Pallets nor Barrels. Atleast according to credible news sources and the US Government.

And believe me Iran got the short end of the stick as they had to give independent Inspectors from the U.N. full access to everything relating to their Nuclear program.
