Me and that wrestler I told you about, we weren't the greatest, but then I said hey, instead of playing different games, let's focus on one. Then we got better as we stuck to Pac Man 2. I used to, surprise! yell at the game, and also sang bits of songs and danced while I played. I began to wonder if bunches of people were watching me play or me acting like a nutcase.

Anyway, Richie got 351,000+ one day, the next day I got 368,820, 21 or 23 boards (we used to take our time with them rather than rush and get killed), 3.5 hours and missed a quiz. That game made 50 cents a day, a quarter each from us two. The day after my high score, they took the game away.

I mean, true, I learned that hitting the side panels of the frame of the arcade game was better than hitting it directly and killing it. And a friend of mine who was on the wrestling team literally soft semi suplexed me to the ground once because he saw the surge in my face meant I was going to do a full two fist from above kill bash on the Pac Man II screen (I died because the game f**ked me up that time) and held me till I heard the next man come up and I then got back in the zone and said, "It's ok, I'm ok" then he let me go to resume play. And sure, sometimes you'd get kicked out of the pizzeria or bowling alley for getting too loud, but none of this shit like today.
