Funnily enough there is a population of Jamaicans which speak with Irish accents. Some Irish people where sent to Jamaica during the 1600's when Ireland was under British rule.
Ha ha. I specifically mean sterotypical Jamaican accent (I believe it's refered time as patois, but I'm not sure). But if I attempt ANY accent, the only thing I can guarantee is that it will be wierd.
actually as an Aussie, I can tell you there's about 3 different types of Aussie accents lol! (I'm originally from LA though, still got a bit of a mixed accent) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnioDeQNlxQ not trying to be PC, even I only recently "discovered" this. And now I gotta find that region in the UK which sounds Aussie (no seriously, I watched a video a couple of months back and I was so confused about the guy's accent)
Those Ausiee's all sound the same to me XD that's cool. It's the same in Ireland depending on which part of the country you are from accents are completely different A Dublin accent is completely different from a cork or Kerry etc. And none of them particularly sound like the ones you hear in the movies. Yeah its weird seeing completely different countries with similar accents to yours. There's even Jamaicans with strong Irish accents although that's because they have Irish ancestry, maybe the same thing with the Brits with Australian accents.
lol it's ok xD yeah I'm aware that there are different accents for parts of the USA and the UK, I didn't know that some Jamaicans have Irish accents, very interesting! and yeah any true blue Aussie (those who are born in Oz as well as their parents etc.) has distant relatives that are British convicts from 1770 if I'm not mistaken :)

Yeah some people are fairly handy with Irish accents, Irish Mayo accents are probably the easiest to do the accents are completely different depending on which part of the country you live if your slipping into a Scottish accent you're probably doing a northern Irish accent as they are quite similar :-)
