What's so ridiculous about border security?...

nothing is ridiculous about border security, but you can't have a good faith debate with someone who is making up stuff and lying the whole time. One of the biggest lies he told was that the wall is being built. It isn't.

It deprives the democrats of future voters and slaves to big government.

You guys don't hear so well?, they all agreed on boarder security, they didn't agree on the wall.

Why not? What is the left's main argument against the wall? If Pelosi weren't so against transparency I wouldn't have to ask hahah

The main argument is that a wall is ineffective and expensive. The same amount of money spent on other forms of border security are more effective.

It's a massive waste of tax dollars? Take a quarter of that price tag and give it to the courts system, the Coast Guard, and ICE, and you've got a more effectively protected border and more efficient processing of undocumented immigrants.

This isn't a secret.

All we got to do is enforce the laws already on the books. Stiff fines and jail sentences for employing them will bring in revenue and stop the illegals from coming in the 1st place.

It's not as simple as all that (of course it's not), because the laws are a hodgepodge mess and punishing the ones who hire won't stop them from coming in the first place - the vast majority of undocumented immigrants came here legally, on temporary visas, and just stayed. It will, however, make it more difficult for them to stay. The ones crossing the southern border came here because of what they were told about us as the land of opportunity. If we want them to stop coming, we have to utilize foreign media to counteract this narrative.

There is one way to test the theory. Just do it. Might find out the wall isn't necessary and save a lot of money in the process.
It won't stop drugs, that is a fantasy.
