I apologize for the jerks who ask why you posted this, if imgflip had a sorrow category not near enough people would know what a great man your brother was. I've been down this road, you're shredded, people will try to comfort you by saying things like, "you'll get over it in time." Fact is you never get over it, you just learn how to negotiate around the scars and painful parts. Or they'll cringe any time they accidentally mention your brother and try to avoid the subject when you want to talk about the injustice of losing him, the character of the man, the funny things he said and did.
My heart breaks for you and his as well as your families. I don't know if you are a person of faith, but please accept my prayers for mercy and grace through this painful time.

I feel fortuneate that i havent felt the pain of losing a loved one yet, although it may happen before i know it (Knock on wood)

Those of us that were lucky enough not to lose anyone tend to be caught off guard when we do. I almost didn't make it back when I lost my mother without warning. Spend time purposefully showing those around you what your real love looks and feels like.
