It's all about Latino solidarity until someone calls a Puerto Rican a Mexican.

Growing up in south Florida, I have seen and heard first hand how some groups of Hispanics perceive themselves to be better than the others.

Same with Asians, they all look down on the Koreans

Latino solidarity? Over what, the language? No, not even that.

The only so-called Latin/Hispanic solidarity/block/monolith is an imaginary one created by politicians. Even within their countries there's, SURPRISE!, division like there is in the USA and everywhere else. Race, ethnicity, religion, political parties, socio-economic class, etc, are all factors in Latin countries also - in fact, often even far more entrenched and bigger dividing factors than here, to the point of practically approaching caste systems.
