It’s true, the demographics are skewed here towards what we think of as conservative. Also should be noted, not all on the left would identify as democrats. Personal I don’t believe in any parties and think it would be best if we could vote on the bills directly ourselves.

We vote for politicians who we share interests with, and they spend their career promoting those. We dont have the time or will to become informed enough to.

Haha I start at Google news, which is helpful because you can see multiple articles on the same story and cross-reference. A little heavy on WaPo, HuffPo and cnn but so long as you know the slant that's coming with those sources you should be ok. I really like financial times and wsj. For non-political stuff the writing at NYT is still tops. Dailymail is also a good source but sensationalizes.

That's where I start, I don't get CNN or other US news, just off google and read a few differing views. I do watch SNL but not for my news, bin watching it since the 70' s cuz I'm not uptight n like a laugh, last night however was a little lax in the funny, it varries.
