A good clue as to whether or not he is in troll mode is if he uses that image. It is chosen because it triggers subconscious feelings of agression. But if it's against the right, the media either outright praises it or downplays it. While an incomehensible but non-violent tweet against an leftist was enough to cost Roseanne her career, shetches which depict the assassination of Trump are late night comedy fodder that warrants a "they were just joking"

G HW Bush Sr as well, and he was on the bland side. Reagan, just like your Thatcher, only with more befuddling around the edges, so more for the picking. Ford, Carter - for those pretending otherwise, watch SNL from back then. Came with the territory. No one cried about it.

That was a lowpoint in politics prior to Obama in terms of going below the belt that I had personally witnessed.
