They were accused and convicted at the time of the alleged crime, with (presumably) actual hard evidence available, not 30+ years later with nothing more than the accuser's word to go on and her own witnesses not backing her up.

Granted, women have been getting men thrown in jail on nothing more than an accusation for a LONG time, but that fortunately seems to be changing. Feminism has overplayed its hand.

I didn't deny where feminism came from, little miss misandrist, although you're exaggerating the amount to a degree, especially in "western" civilizations. It has been far worse in muslim countries, but point that out and you get labeled an "islamophobe".

You are also, for that matter, completely ignoring the amount of protection, comfort, and downright survival that women have been afforded at the expense of men over the millennia, doing the dangerous, dirty, and thankless jobs.

Women are more abusive than men, always have been, especially towards children. The only difference is, men do more damage when they hit, so their crimes are far more visible.

Bad enough you're drinking the kool-aid (how's that for copy-pasting, since I'm apparently doing it as much as you are), but if you think you're just as oppressed as women in, for example, Saudi Arabia, then you're spitting in the faces of all Saudi Arabian women. I do not expect Supreme Court Justices to be held to the same standard as everyone else. I expect a higher standard. They make legal decisions for the whole country. Their record must be impeccable. Their behavior must have been impeccable. And such disregard for the freedoms of others flies in the face of and against America. Also, it is widely believed by citizens, the Bar Association, and Law Professors that his conduct in front of the Senate Judicial Committee was unbecoming a judge and disqualifying for the Supreme Court or that the investigation (that was unfettered, interviewing all linked persons, the accused, and accuser) should be done.
I am fully confident that any other judge nominated from the President's list would be confirmed with far less drama and probably with some democrat support.

Did you know that the exception clause of the 13th amendment gave legal cover to re-enslave the emancipated peoples? Did you know that, for a fee, plantation owners could have those same people come and work their fields? I would pose the question why imprisonment still appears so biased against persons of dark skin.

I know. They were directed to stay where they were and owners were directed to pay them. Some left but most stayed. Their former owners, now considered their employer, paid less than they charged for rent, minimal basics and tools. In one form or another persons of color never were freed. They are incarcerated and preyed upon today by the exact same system that enslaved their ancestors. The wording is just different now. To answer your question, I believe it's because white men still write and enforce the laws.
