Hope people heed the warnings though.

I hope they find a place to live that doesn't require evacuations, also.

These people have severe weather regularly so the houses near the shore are built on stilts.

I know people who go there for kite surfing. They're going again in two weeks. Hopefully the storm will weaken and people can get back to 'regular' lives without too much damage or injuries. Sometimes we forget the power of nature. :-)

Apparently, if Florence stays at cat 4 it will be the northernmost landfall of a hurricane with that power. Scary proposition for these people.

And today they said it took a turn for the worse by changing course. Le's hope and pray people are smart enough to follow the evacuation orders.
