What is truly disturbing is the chorus of vile comments about women's looks and such in political memes instead of what they stand for. Male politicians may get it also, but in regards to women, they are rendered into nothing but objects devoid of anything other than physical.

No problems about him, same happened to me too. I got sucked into that one by someone who then turned on him just days later who really only wanted to start trouble with people. I still would have reacted the same, but that person was the one who alerted me to it, so I had to squelch the aftermath on that person's end.

Most people here thought BenJ was a troll back when he started as 123Guy. Me & Smerkin had an encounter with him early on just before he got everyone else irritated. Argued with him, and that's when I noticed things were a tad off with him. Anyways he stopped with us, but then few weeks later everyone was irked by him and it was over before I could say anything. So I already had that background angle on him, whereas you and others didn't.

I've also misinterpreted people and what they were about, thinking them trolls when really they just had issues which affected their communication. Those burn me, I feel like crap about the way I treated them, even after I apologized.

Anyways, you did the right thing by rectifying the situation with him.

He was alright at first, then it seemed like he was trolling, then more antagonsitic, then seemed more of a sad case (in my eyes). But I had missed much of that, just catching it at the beginning and then the end of his meltdown.

I used to be on a forum elsewhere, and what they call flame wars here was what we called banter. So I became an asshole there, was even crowned Emperor Asshole Modda on a thread polling for the biggest asshole in the site's history in 2016. The OP actually miscounted, but skip that, I wanted the crown!
We could alter our names there, so I tacked that on for several months.

Most of the members were British, so I tried to hone my craft inspired by them, but they were so much better.

Lotsa silly butt jokes, so that's where I picked that up,,,
