I had to watch the ending of "The Wizard of Oz", "the ending of "Angels With Dirty Faces", and the ending of "It's A Wonderful Life" in order to conjure up those tears!
If I had timed it right so that my score had stopped under 7,777,777 when all my memes and top 5 comments visible on my profile were more than a month old, I could have done it (you don't get points when someone upvotes a meme more than a month old). I just underestimated.
Dude! I just went through the same thing, only for a lot less points. I was just under 777777 and shot passed it before I could figure exactly what I needed.
Just delete your account and start over. See how simple that was? Lol :-)
My points total has been both even and odd at different times, but I can't figure out how it switched from one to the other, because the only ways I know of getting points, apart from if you're a new user, are even numbers (2, 4, 20, 30, and 40).
The main guess I have so far is that imgflip has a bonus system in place where they give you extra points for activity on the site (e.g. for giving a certain amount of upvotes, or for commenting a lot), and that some of the bonus points given end in odd numbers (for example, something-25 etc). But that's just guessing.
Here's the click-to-show of a list of the ways to get points (that I know of), in case someone would like to know:
