I WHOLEHEARTEDLY SUPPORT THE SECOND AMENDMENT WAIT! WASN'T UNCLE BEN GUNNED DOWN BY A CAREER CRIMINAL WITH NO SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS? | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Spidey was a bad choice for this meme because he has never advocated guns or the ownership of such. The Punisher, Silver Sable, Nick Fury, The Phantom, The Shadow and a few others would be more appropriate for gun advocacy.

Armed illegally, because under British rule there was no right to bear arms. The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution (Written long after Independence Day )reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." - Every Tom Dick and Harry owning/using guns does not constitute 'a well regulated Militia'

militia (m?-l?sh??)?
n. An army composed of ordinary citizens rather than professional soldiers.
n. A military force that is not part of a regular army and is subject to call for service in an emergency.
n. The whole body of physically fit civilians eligible by law for military service.

exactly, an Army/Military Force/Physically fit civilians - not any undisciplined, unregulated, mentally competent rabble. I have no problem with the bearing of arms etc, so long as there are checks and balances to ensure 'cracker barrels' are not running round 'settling scores' or shooting up schools. The founding fathers did not have the benefit of a 'modern' definition of militia. They certainly could not have envisioned Semi/Fully Automatic weapons.

The definition of militia they had at the time was the third-
n. The whole body of physically fit civilians eligible by law for military service.
And they expected the citizens to have comparable weapons to the military. That is to apply the checks and balances you like, to the government, by the governed.

When is the public militia going to cycle their f-22s out of service since they're obsolete then?

A search of the internet has turned up that obsolete is defined as no longer in use. Also turned up that the F22 is cost prohibitive for restarting production at this time because there is not a need for it yet since it is technologically superior to anything else in the sky, even the F35. To verify that, just research how may F35's have been exported to foreign countries in comparison to how may F22's are owned by foreign countries. And to make it easy on you, here are the links:

That's one of the oldest and easiest argument to combat. Let's just ignore the fact that a militia includes anyone who comes together to form an armed populace. It isn't difficult to realize that the founding fathers wanted an armed populace.
