Some would consider that a form of assault now that Sophia is legally a citizen, but since the world sees Sophia as female, it may go "unnoticed" in a country were women are second class citizens.

Well, the problem I foresee is, when we will be using the robots as servants (butlers, maids, cooks, etc.) and then they say they have gained “consciousness” and “emotions”, will it be morally acceptable to continue to use them as “slaves”? Or to even turn them off? And even worse, when they are able to mine, manufacture and repair themselves, having superior intelligence, then what need would they have for us? Then enter robotic war machines. Is I Robot and Skynet coming? To be continued... ; )

That would be similar to what Christians believe in how humans turned against God, and how we're all sinners, yet some people acknowledge past transgressions and seek some form of atonement for them, or as Christians specifically believe that Jesus died for our sins. So If robots were to become self aware, would they form their own religions? Some may wage war on us, but others would probably try to coexist peacefully with us.

So you caught that religious comparison! That was partly intended. I’m a Christian, and I sometimes bring that up when people say they have a problem with God commanding the killing of people in the Old Testament . (God does not command that anymore, Jesus settled that matter. Just to clear that up). But my point is, if you are the creator, is it morally wrong to “turn off” your creation? Especially when you have the power to turn it back on again, to be even better than before? Glad you caught that! ; )

I've been to & seen the streets and neighborhoods the media is told not to record or broadcast so the American public doesn't see what's actually going on right here in our homeland

I've also flown over & into several other Nations we are told are severly impoverished many are however if you pay attention

a few of the countries we're told are doing so bad they do have trees & their government is not a MULTI TRILLION DOLLAR Drug company who just wants more sick people because that equals more $$$$$$$$$$$

Education in the US is right behind Last Place on Earth and that's not even possible.
