Avoiding crooked tricks is how people get stable wealth, using crooked tricks is how people get short-term money accompanied by trouble, falling for crooked tricks is how poor people lose what money they do have.

after that "small" loan of a million dollars, he made all his money by himself. . . if i wasn't so stupid, I wouldn't have squandered the million dollar loan I got from my parents... . .

It was at his father's real estate company that Trump got his start in business. In 1971, he took control of his father's apartment rental company, Elizabeth Trump & Son Co., and later on, he renamed it The Trump Organization. -

Most people could set themselves for life with a million dollars. If you're inheriting that much from your parents then you are not self made.

then take that last million and turn it into an overdose!!!

Actually, not really. With inflation rising, a one-time payment of a million dollars would only last you a decade or so (and even then, it would be very frugal)

Trump had liquidated his real estate holdings, estimated to be worth $500 million, back in 1987 and invested them in the S&P 500 Index, his net worth could be as much as $13 billion.

Interesting, I must admit that I did not do the exact math. Is that factoring living expenses paid for at a safe withdrawal rate?

(also, are we now talking about $1 million or $500 million? Because those are two very different numbers)

Not sure I should ask this, but what's your point? So what if he gets a loan from his dad? I've been given loans from my parents, just on a much smaller scale as they aren't nearly as wealthy as his dad was.

You seem to hate Trump so much you'll act like anything he has done, or is doing, is shitty. As if getting a loan from your parents is a terrible thing.

Are you jealous you aren't able to get that amount of money from your parents? I mean, really, what is your problem with him receiving a million dollar loan from his dad?

because he did not get a million dollar loan, another lie, he inherited the equivalent of a billion today and lost it all. more than once. even with a gd casino. ... if it were not for Russian oligarchs and gangsters or saudi princes partying with him in the 80's and loaning him money he would be selling used cars today, ... look it up he sucks at business and will bankrupt the nation like every business that is not reality tv or inherited.... he tried to sell steaks out of freaking radio shack and hes in charge of the nation? seriously? this will not end well. He is a FRAUD

Yea that increased debt to give rich folks that dont need a tax break, the rest of the world boycotting and putting tariffs on our goods, our enemies emboldened, is all going to work out great. did you live through bush? did you burn dixie chick cd's too? see again, you are a sucker, he is destroying our economy and very fabric of truth justice and the American way, and the unlike his personal scummy finances, the nation just cant default without serious consequences. .... he is a scumbag conman with no idea what he is doing.... how old were you in 85? 2000? 2007? because those economic crashes will be mild compared to what is coming... but hey if the white trash lowlife give you hope that you too can somehow be rich without inheriting billions.... then more power to ya. but dont cry to us when he does worse than what bush did to the economy.

I'm 40, but know enough to know who created more debt than whom. I voted Clinton the first time I was legally able to vote in '96. I know, right? Me voting Clinton.

You're showing a debt clock and not mentioning obama? Obama tripled our debt and you don't bat an eye. Just blame it all on Trump. Every president adds to the debt. Obama added more than all other presidents combined.
