Dude, seriously, saying those things don't even exist? I'm a conservative and I'm well aware that liberals blow those things out if proportion for their political gain. But the reality is that those things sadly do exist to some degree and always will as long as mankind exists

Racism, sexism and xenophobia aren't as bad as the Democrats make it out to be, but they feel the need to keep adding fuel to the proverbial fire in order to keep the country divided.

I agree with that totally. The Obama era added napalm to an ember. But I also clearly see what is becoming equally as bad, and that is the overreaction to it which is sometimes referred to as "white grievance politics." I see more and more of my friends blaming blacks, Hispanics, pretty much anyone who is non-white and non-Christian for every problem that exists. And I say that as a white southern make Christian conservative. As I've gotten older I've come to realize the biggest problem in society is the inability to see the evil within ourselves, and within our own. Us against them is destroying us from within, and it comes from ALL sides.

And a huge problem is that we find ourselves walking on eggshells around those you mentioned because of what the media has pushed upon the public with their sensationalist news coverage. SMH

Yeah no doubt. Wife and I just had dinner at our favorite Asian buffet and I was noticing just how diverse the crowd was in there. Of course there were many variations of Asians, blacks, middle eastern, "whites", young, old, salt of the earth, plastic types, short, tall, skinny, fat, etc, etc. I was thinking how though there is so much between us all, we were all just there to enjoy a good meal with others, and we're all just people trying to enjoy life, and not so different.

I work in healthcare and work with men women blacks whites hispanics gay straight etc. Guess what? As of today there have been 0 riots and I have yet to see a single nazi. Don’t let the media (no matter what side you’re on) brainwash you. We have more in common than we think.
3 ups, 6y
I'm in no way brainwashed by the media. While I know many people who are not racist or sexist, I know others who are. I see it first hand. And I see it all over social media. It's there, and pretending it doesn't exist does no good.

Yea let's just all sit back and let people get denied their rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness... as long as they're not white, right?
1 up, 6y
Just like Obama divided everyone along racial lines because of his skin tone. He should have known it would trigger the white supremacists, tsk tsk.

Many do it unconsciously as you just did. You started out saying both sides do it, and finished with only conservative blame. It becomes a habit that gets in the way even when you try to be reasonable doesn't it? :)

I do that too. It's mainly this site where I do it, though. Anywhere else (Youtube, Twitter, possibly Facebook) I get real with the left.

Fake news but yeah so many "hate crimes" are turning out to be false in the uk there have been around 3 Muslim women who all claimed to have had the head scarf torn and or ripped off and one even claimed that she got pushed onto the train tracks this never happened no witnesses and they all said they made it up did the media apologise for immediately calling it true no they still haven't its crazy world out there

You can make a serious argument about "xenophobia," but racism and sexism not as much.

Xenophobia is the fear of foreigners and their cultures. I believe you can be afraid of something you don't know much about other lands. Things that can be dangerous like other cultures can be scary to some people.

I'll have to part company with you on that one my friend. I wish it were so, but wishing don't do it. It's not limited to any single race either. One on one most people can remain open minded, when referring to a group it all goes to shit.

Created by democrats. The KKK was started by the democrats during the Civil War to combat what the north was doing to fight slavery.

yes because the KKK voted for Obama

And you assume all black people didn't vote for Trump? Of course some did. Those were the "house n!ggers," am I correct?

I mean, that's what the leftist idiots like to call black conservatives.

No they are called uncle Tom and uncle ruckus and race traitor it is really funny seeing them say everyone in this group has to vote this way then if they don't how can they call the opposition nazis if Jewish people voted for them or in the case of trump sexist

Just like Michelle Obama said that all women should had a duty to vote for Hillary. How does she feel about the women who voted for her husband instead of Clinton in the primaries?

The truth hurts. You know for a fact that leftist idiots call black conservatives this because they do it all the time.

"If you ain't supporting us democrats and liberals, you ain't a true n----r." On;y they won't use the n-word because they don't want to sound like they're spreading hate. That's saved for the repubs.

2 ups, 6y
So we agree.

You are at liberty (oh know, that word) to post any Democrats using the language you did past, you know, the 1960s - when racist conservatives switched to Republican. Which pretty much makes both parties worth their shit in mold.

Times have changed. You're talking about two hundred years ago. Now it's people from your party wearing the hoods and accosting black women and children at pools, and yelling at non-whites in coffee shops to go back to their country. Look in a mirror. You're the face of the division in this country.

I'm not sure where you get that my party is the republican party. Never claimed to be republican.

And no, democrats do not fight for equality. They fight to enslave minorities and keep them dependent on government. After all, the majority of minorities are voting democrat. Keep the black people dependent on the government and make up the term racist and sexist and they'll believe anything.

Nazis aren't dead. The pics from my other meme are recent of people with swastikas on their shirts giving the nazi salute. He's been defending republicans by trying to say these white supremacist clowns were started by democrats 200 years ago, or that they're conservatives but definitely not republicans. Trump supporter, defends republicans, blames democrats for everything, denies racism when people are sending package bombs to POC, or shooting up a church or a Waffle House full of black people... I'm sure there were Germans who agreed with everything Hitler did but tried to deny being a nazi, too, but it didn't make them any less of one...
0 ups, 6y
Nazi historical
a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party so yes all the nazis are dead the people who you are referring to are neo nazis and they are less of the population than the trans people why are you bothered by a huge minority

makes perfect sense!!!!

have you ever talked to a white person who's been to prison? I have. they come out more racist than when they went in. I've seen it, not many time, not most times, but every time.

You're hanging out with the wrong people from the looks of it.

I question whether that's racism or a product of the Democratic system. Federal prison produces a lot of hatred toward a lot of people. All races stick to themselves in prison. It's just the thing to do.

Racism is a funny word made up by democrats.

Keep everyone hating each other so that way we can take over their hate-filled lives and rule them easier.

Although, not sure we need this fake racism to divide us, we have politics and religion.

You're confusing a political party with an ideal. Conservatives aren't the same thing as republicans. Liberals and Democrats are also not the same thing.

Sure, many conservatives are republicans and many liberals are democrats, but they are not the same thing.

Also, I'd like to see where you get the idea that nazis are republicans. Sounds rather bigoted to me.

Why are you defending Republicans if you're not one? There are Trump supporters are giving the nazi salute and crying for the rights of white people. Those aren't Democrats doing that. Wake up.

2 ups, 6y,

I'm not defending republicans. I defend anyone with any form of moral compass. Most of who I defend happen to be republicans because there are far more conservative republicans than conservative democrats. Damn, you support a republican in office and suddenly you're a republican. lol! Typical leftist thinking.

So when the Black Panther party shout racial epithets at people and try to intimidate voters to vote for Barack Obama, that isn't on Obama, but when Nazis support Trump, Trump is suddenly Nazi?

Wow, I didn't know anyone could be that stupid and hypocritical, but here you are.

You can't be a racist and a bigot. A racist is open about there racism. A bigot hides there racism. The two are quite different. I'd rather deal with a racist than a bigot , at least with a racist you know where you stand , with a bigot you never really know.
1 up, 6y
No one can convince these white supremacists that people of color deserve to live in this country just as much as they do. You can give them evidence, show them laws, try to make appeals for empathy, nothing works because in their minds, they have preconceived ideas about a black, gay or Jewish person before they ever meet them and they bring those ideals with them wherever they go, prompting them to treat others in disturbing and often morally wrong or deadly ways.
