Really? I don't think you know what atheism is. What you are saying is, 'Not playing baseball is my hobby'. Last weekend I didn't play baseball and it was great, I plan on not playing baseball next weekend as well.

Atheism isn't the assertion that things like Heaven and Hell don't exist; rather, to be an atheist is simply to be unconvinced by claims made on insufficient evidence that such things exist. Not having a reason to believe in something is a pretty good reason not to believe in it.

Anyone that says that does not know what sufficient evidence is.

I spent most of my teenage years trying to prove that there was a god or an animistic element to our universe; but alas, I eventually came to accept that I couldn't find a good reason to believe in one. Of course if someone such as yourself were able to give me a good reason to believe it, I would be ecstatic, but in all honesty I doubt you could show me any "evidence" which I haven't heard repeated ad nauseum in the past.

Look around. Everything is magic. Take a few minutes. Look at water. Look at light. Test gravity. Feel the air. Every single one of these is perfect magic—that science cannot even attempt to explain. Science has identified many things, but the idea that science has proven or explained anything is completely FALSE. Period. When you get into more complex things like mathematics and DNA, we know next to nothing about how any of these things work. And when it comes to where anything actually comes from we have absolutely no idea. There is far more magic that we cannot explain than things we can explain. The big lie of science is that it has proven anything in the first place. It hasn’t. It just identified (in an extremely limited manner) how some things work.

Science is the use of deductive reasoning to logically evaluate the implications of objective and testable data regarding observable phenomena; it is used to draw consistently predictive and explanatory conclusions that are directly indicated by and exclusively concordant with all demonstrable evidence. So if science can't prove anything about our world, then nothing can.

God's power is not some magic that's occasionally used to break the laws of nature. Rather, it is the authority behind those laws. He commands the aspects of reality (quantum mechanics, space-time, the elements), and they obey.

First off, there is no evidence that God is fiction. Ghosts are composed of spirit matter--my theory is that spirit matter and dark matter are the same thing.

Secondly, this planet and solar system are too well-organized to have been shaped by random chaos. The existence of reality itself is proof of a purpose.

Thirdly, the Creator has revealed Himself to Judeo-Christian prophets.
See Alma 30.

Furthermore, you can personally get to know God, and receive a confirmation via personal revelation, upon which to build your faith. The experiment is described in Moroni 10:3-5, Alma 32:15-43, and James 1:5. Visit mormon.org or talk to a Latter-day Saint to better understand this experiment.

"There is no evidence that God is fiction."

An interesting statement coming from someone who probably thinks the overwhelming majority of all human religion is fiction. I find your God in no way more convincing than most others. The Bible is written in the style of moralistic literary mythology that was popular in antiquity, and makes innumerable claims that science, archaeology, and historiography all demonstrate to be manifestly false.

"my theory is that spirit matter and dark matter are the same thing."

If this were true, it would be demonstrable by the fact that dark matter has observable mass.

"this planet and solar system are too well-organized to have been shaped by random chaos. The existence of reality itself is proof of a purpose."

The universe isn't exactly "random." It is a set of fundamental forces that consistently interact and behave in predictable ways. There is nothing about our solar system we wouldn't expect to happen naturally.

"you can personally get to know God, and receive a confirmation via personal revelation, upon which to build your faith."

Every religion is full of people who claim this in defense of their religion; conveniently people almost always get revelations from the god(s) they already believe in, and there are no demonstrated cases of someone getting revelations from a deity of another religion which they've never heard of.

You are accepting as facts those things that cannot be established as facts.

Like what?

And if scientific method can't objectively prove anything, then how can you prove anything at all outside purely hypothetical scenarios?

That statement, for one, has absolutely no meaning. And secondly, science is nothing more than the observation of things. Science is used for predictive explanatory conclusions. But conclusions are never science. That is the problem with this logic. The conclusion is merely a conclusion. It’s called a conclusion—because the word conclusion means “dead end” — in the most literal of terms that means when science observes something it cannot explains, it comes to a conclusion. Every inexplicable conclusion reached by science is absolutely proof that we are surrounded by magic. It is not proof that there is no god and no magic.

Talk about a statement with absolutely no meaning XD

I agree. But it is not just the authority behind the laws of nature. It is a divine force. Each time we hit one of those dead ends, is that magical force proving to us, that it is a Devine, magical collection of forces that cannot be explained by or to human beings.
