I don't think they were there to protest. I believe they were waiting for a friend.

I actually agree with them being arrested. They were told to purchase something or leave, and they refused. They are a private business, not a hangout.

Yes, I'm white, and I've been told to leave a store twice. Both times, I was ashamed and hurried out. (Once at a restaurant, met friends with food from another restaurant, another we were filming) When someone tells you to buy or leave, that's what you have to do. It could have been race driven, they could have been rude about it, but the men decided to stay even when they knew the cops had been called.

I was told to leave Barnes & Noble Cafe because I didn't buy a coffee, but I saw another man reading books and he didn't purchase a coffee either (or maybe he drank it already). Most likely because the barista was angry he had no business unlike the other B&N I go to, where there is much more business.

They are doing their job you may not agree with the law but they have to enforce it I don't like the drug laws in the uk but I follow the law like a good citizen if they weren't trespassing then there would be no reason to arrest
