Still a great one, even in reruns. Boone was cool before anyone knew what cool was.

I've never actually seen reruns, but I'm guessing everything is available somewhere on the 'net nowadays.

Close, but no ceegar, Wikipedia sez: Have Gun – Will Travel is an American Western television series that aired on CBS from 1957 through 1963. It was rated number three or number four in the Nielsen ratings every year of its first four seasons.[1] The show was one of the most successful shows in television history. It was one of the few television shows to spawn a successful radio version. The radio series debuted November 23, 1958.

I was born in 1965. ;)

I was but a small child when the show was in first run. "Have gun will travel reads the card of a man" I don't remember a lot about the show, but have seen some repeated episodes over the years.

I only heard of it way after the fact. My early memories of shows from my toddlerhood that I've seen again are like Laugh-In and the sort. The older I get the more I realize that shows I assumed I saw as repeats in the 1970s, I actually saw in their original run in the 1960s when I was in tiny pants, like Gomer Pyle and Petticoat Junction. :)

Yeah, I'm a bit older than you. Tuesday nights were a toss-up because we had a choice of Red Skelton or Combat. Sundays the choice was Disney or Ed Sullivan (yes, I saw the Beatles make their appearance, and even remember their cartoon show) Saturday, we were stuck watching Lawrence Welk until we got Grandma her own TV. Shows I only saw in reruns were I Love Lucy, Burns & Allen, and December Bride (although I did watch their spin off, Pete & Gladys) Back then, I watched a lot of TV. Today, I binge watch Anime to keep up with my grandkids.

Red Skelton was huge in our household when I was wee. I never saw Ed Sullivan. I saw a bit of Lawrence Welk due to my grandma. (And I saw Hee-Haw due to my dad.) I was of that blessed generation that had Gilligan's Island and Star Trek as post-school fare. ;)

Star Trek, I started getting into when I was 10. I didn't care for Sci-Fi because, back then, they were mostly "Monster of the week" shows. I caught Plato's Children at my cousin's house and fell in love with the show. Then NBC torpedoed it, allowing the reruns to proliferate and my chance to see the episodes I'd missed.

Gilligan's Island, I watched almost from the beginning. Syndication allowed for me to watch the few episodes I missed (because Grandma had to watch Lawrence Welk)

Twilight Zone was a staple in our house, but I usually went to bed when it was on (Monster of the week) Same with Outer Limits. I finally grew accustomed to those types of shows thanks to, of all series, Lost In Space. Also why I hate serials that require you watch every episode.

Serials are evil. They glue you to the set and suck yer brains out. XD I watch sports on TV and a few documentaries, that's about it for nowadays.

The were worse, back in the day, when networks were the ones that set when you could watch them. Now, thanks to the interwebs, you can binge watch as long you want. I've gotten into anime thanks to my grandkids. I often marvel at the originality of a story, as well as how other writers copy the idea and give it their own spin. Now, Instead of wading through a year of waiting on episodes, I can sit and watch a full season in a few days. Still, I have to wait the week on new shows that come out, but I'm not bound by that schedule. I've got two shows scheduled to air today at 4, but odds are I won't watch them until around 9. Polar opposite as far as type of shows, but I enjoy them with the grand kids.

Having a DVR is a blessing for me actually having a life. :) But I usually end up watching the Travel Channel documentaries and Formula 1 races when it gets to 85% full.
