I'll say, these two aren't really the same thing. Being a blatant slob is a far cry from being too lazy to pot the seat and lid both down. I mean, if you're flushing your hand is right there and you ought to be able to flip the seat down with out problems.

That being said, I never touch the toilet seat or handle. I flush with my foot even at home, and also use my foot to put the seat down when it gets left up. Why the hell do we not have a foot control lever for the seat? I mean we can take photos with our phones but we can't have a foot operated toilet seat. We have this awesome technology for trash cans. Just sayin!

In what way, exactly, is leaving the toilet seat up being a slob? And don't bring the lid into this, that's never part of the argument.

The general complaint is that women want the seat left down so they don't accidentally plop down into the bowl and soak their asses in toilet water, but isn't it kind of sexist to imply women are incapable of making sure the seat is down before they sit?

So then the argument continues "what if she wakes up at night having to go, but is too tired to remember to check", except the same argument can be made for men, and then women risk sitting on a toilet seat splashed with piss.

You misinterpret. I was referring to the make_up being strewn as the behavior of the slob. The fact that I said, "Being a blatant slob is a far cry from being too lazy to put the seat down" should tell you that. Your speech was not necessary. But thanks anyway!

That's funny, but I'm honestly surprised they haven't changed the name of those things. I mean gosh, calling them "vanity tables" implies women have vanity! Feminism would never allow that if they thought about it. XD
