From running off to get Carol - which lead them to geting caught by Negan, the destroying of that big gun while duking it out with Rick, the truck ramming a hole into Sanctuary wall so the can escape, etc, he's lead to more deaths and worsening situs than Carl used to!

The reason is that Scott Gimple is a f**king tardhead. Carl always bugged me, but killing him is killing Rick's whole point of doing what he does. Andrew Lincoln has already been rumbling about missing his family in the UK while filming here. He said it was really hard filming the second half of this season without Carl too.

Tyrese? The show is major stupid. Dies for Noah only so Noah can die 2 episodes later. Beth died for him too, but she was annoying, so no f**ks given. I liked Noah tho. I used to watch Everyone Hates Chris.
Glenn AND Abraham? Dafuq was that? I thought it was Eugene that was gonna get the bat. Abe was the funniest.
The W, the Wolves guy? Yeah, why does the show introduce interesting developments just to nix it before it happens?
I don't like FTWD as much, but it's grown on me. The already killed half or more of the originals, so pfffffft.

k, this is gonna sound total f*ggy, but when dead Merle looked at Darryl, it put a tear in my eye, well maybe 3. Killing him was the worst thing they did. I loved that guy, and there was sooooo much they could have done with him - character development-wise, interaction with others-wise.

Sometimes I wonder if Gimple was secretly trying to kill the show.

If I didn't have a sneaking suspicions they were going to kill Rick and Daryl in the next few seasons, (because they are tired of the stigma of the show, imo) I'd say it would be cool to see like an origin or Darryl and melee. Like when they were more badass.

So once those guys leave, I dunno. I may loose interest. I just like shows like that. Makes you feel like you're part of the show in a way. You care for the characters and when a beloved one dies I do understand the sadness. Lol.

I think Negan and the King, almost make up for Abraham.

I think Lincoln is gonna want out, next season or the 10th at the latest. He might pull one of those, "But I have other things to do" hoping for more $$.

A Daryl and Merle show would be way fab, but I think they'd be too busy making movies n shit. Plus what would it be, "The Dixon Bros Rob Houses and Drink Moonshine"?
My fave episode was Merle's last one. The "Claim" one was good too (except the attack on Carl part). Rick biting off that jugular was the best thing ever. Shame tho, because that gang would have been cool to see more of. The leader, I think his name was Joe, his was aces, till the end. Also liked when Carol nuked Terminus. haha.
Stupid Gimple didn't get that it's all about the core characters. You don't watch someone for 8 years then say, "Hey, they got that Jesus dude anyways, so ta ta, Glen!"
Also, the earlier seasons were more intimate, the shots - 8 people in the woods. But now it's these long shots, so that feel that you're next to them is kinda gone. Not sure if it's this old tv here, but the light has this harshly pale blue/grey cast to it.

I liked Shane in the first few seasons. Some ppl think it'll be him to come back since he got killed off screen, but I doubt it. It'll probably be like some lesser character.

Shane got knifed by Rick onscreeen, then Carl shot him in the head when he got up as a zombie. Then the zombs heard and went to the farm and it burnt down, end S2.

See in the comic book, they beat the saviors and at the end of the volume, well here, during the whole comic it shows carl talk to someone, getting advice and such. Come to find out it's neagan in the jail/cage in Alexandria. So I know it isn't following the comic to the T but I thought that would be pretty neat to see.
Later on of course they face an even bigger more powerful group and Rick has to ask neagan for advice and neagan becomes part of the group, before repenting and dying to save Rick.
