Crime exists in volumes. Crime isn't some single constant quantity that either exists or not. There's quantities of crime, based on how much you enforce laws that push back on it.

The number of hunters walking into the woods with guns every year is more numerous than any army in the world. Not sure how it makes the NRA rich. I'm not against raising the age limit and more thorough background checks. I'm somewhere in the middle of the opposing factions.

Making and moving guns is not like growing plants. Nor are they consumable. Those responsible for not heading the law can more easily be found. Not to mention many countries employ successfully gun control programs. It's basically been proven the more guns floating around the more people are injured and or are killed by them.

We are not the only country in the world with mass shootings. We however have a tremendously disproportionate amount of mass shootings relative to most countries.

It's also proven that the first step the socialist government does is disarm its people. Combine all the deaths of wars from 1900 up plus the disease that ensued, multiply that by three, and you almost reach the amount of deaths caused by communist governments killing their own disarmed peoples.

First off most governments with gun control are not like this. Second off guns or no guns these people were toast. Anyone who stood up to these regimes would be imprisoned and or killed. There is no way civilians can stand up to modern military and other agency forces. It was the mindset of the regime not lack of guns that caused such oppression.
