Our way is, teachers who wish can carry. Same as they do in Israel. One cop sipping coffee on the completely other side of the school is not an immediate response, and is certainly not "our way."

"Your way" is the "gun free zone"in Aurora that made a carry-permitted Marine who could have responded immediately, leave his gun at home.

Your way is unilateral disarmament. Our way is only armed good guys can stop armed bad guys. Your way invites shooters, our way deters them.

Go ahead, just admit it, I did years ago and changed, just like you can. Our way is rational. Yours is stupid and kills people and needs to stop.

Teachers should be armed and trained. Should also be trained in trauma first aid. I am not saying teachers need to go after the shooter, but lock down and defend their rooms. If they're alone with no students, and feel they can do something, then give thrm a fighting chance.

Experience has proven it, and Israel's not the only case study. Voluntarily armed teachers ALWAYs reduce incidents. Cops can't be everywhere. And your "common sense" is anything but. it's really not hard to put yourself in the mind of the criminal.

It's voluntary. But knowing a teacher MIGHT be carrying is almost all the deterrent it takes.

Be honest, it's just the fact. So called "Gun-free zones" deter NO criminals. And it's really finally stupid to keep trying to pretend otherwise.

1. If you keep importing refugees who think very differently from you, at some point you're going to discover that's going to change.

2. If we choose to learn the lessons of history like the Swiss, and not ignore them like you, that's our choice.

3. If we operate in the US from the principle of the inherent and inalienable rights of the people, instead of privileges "permitted" to us by a hypothetically benevolent state, and you don't approve, then sorry, but the better for us and tough beans for you.
