In fairness, you could probably find all of that in the roots of any major faith. The issue, which you lost sight of, was terrorism - and Western nations are capable of that too, and we are also notoriously poor at understanding why terrorism's seeds are frequently sown in our own arrogance - as well as that of small nations we unjustly support, although in fairness that is usually done with our peoples' ignorance.
