Many republicans are pro life. But not pro-universal healthcare for all, not pro-food stamps, etc. But they are pro gun and death penalty. They aren't "pro life"...they are simply "pro fetus."

cmon OM life is life.....its like sunshine' you cant turn it back for a refund or store credit. Honestly if don't believe in a god no matter what religion you or who else practises or worship's, that belongs to you, but on the other side of the penny, there is what some call god, some want to hang on to that, all good, some want proof, me? i think life in which he gave us or created is proof enuf for this dude. if you don't take care of yourself first , you won't to be able to take of others. we all want everyone to live and prosper, but we cant do it by killing ourselves.and you are right, its not the government's job to tell us how to do that, that would be a dictatorship, individuals non-profit charities should be extremely larger and count on people's good nature to start that revolution. government has no interest in helping the world unless it sees a profit.

They aren't necessarily "ok" with it (at least I hope they aren't), but a politician has to recognize the limits of what they can and can't do. They have to put the interests of their citizens first.

Probably no one. Make no mistake, I believe human life is incredibly valuable, and every person should be cared for and loved. However, that is not the government's job. The government's only job should be to punish and prevent evil. Caring and providing for the poor is best done by individuals and private organizations. When the government loses focus of its intended task by doing jobs that others are supposed to do, everyone suffers.

That's definitely not the government's only job. This country was built and founded by immigrants. And considering the fact that people from Saudi Arabia and the UAE are still allowed in, two countries not only teeming with terrorists but also home to those who have committed acts on US soil, singling out Yemen makes no sense.

Liberal logic:
illegal immigrants are Americans even if they don't have citizenship yet, but children aren't human until they're officially born

Conservative logic: People without citizenship and people who aren't born yet are the same.

They are both human beings who are denied basic rights, but I agree that equating them like that is kinda ridiculous
