I've said the same thing to people who weren't actually my wife lol. Force of habit. What's the worst is when you think they are next to you in a store so you say something or move to touch them, but it's not them lol

A guy I worked with did that to another guy I worked with on accident. So, I called him right away. Asked him some work related stuff, and before I hung up, I said I loved him and laughed. He said, "you asshole".

Is it as embarrassing as moving in to kiss a friend goodbye before going out the door and they end up thinking you're a lesbian? I did that as a teenager once after a sleepover because I always kissed my mother at the door before she went to work...force of habit...
