My ex had a Mazda RX7 back in the 80's, with the rotary engine. If you didn't shift the gears just so, it would backfire -- LOUD. It sounded like a gun going off, truth!!

We were driving down Jasper Avenue in Edmonton one Saturday afternoon and he didn't quite hit the clutch right, and BOOOOM!!! Everyone on the street started ducking for cover. What a riot!

I had an old snowblower that did the same thing, and once in awhile... BANG!!! and people across the street would look around at where that shot came from (lol) ... I'd roar, of course :-) so seeing your meme reminded me of those two items ... it also seems the the greatest number of really funny memes feature our 10 Guy friend here, and this one was no exception!

Not enough people know what gun shots sound like. After every mass shooting they invariably put someone on the news that survived by pure dumb luck that says "I heard the sound but thought that it was just firecrackers."

If people knew what gun shots sound like and reacted appropriately maybe so many people wouldn't get killed.
