SHE'S OFFENDED? ISN'T EVERYBODY BY EVERYTHING THESE DAYS? | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
I've tried it too and I liked it. No moose around here, but the road to work cuts through a golf course. I've seen lots of deer. A few peeps I know/work with have hit them. I'll look for a pic I took from out the window one day.

Have you ever eaten moose? I didn’t get the chance. You couldn’t buy the meat but one restaurant was known for its moose burgers, only open during summer and I didn’t get to try one damnit! 25 dollar burger!

Yes I've had moose. Wait $25? That's outrageous! When I was a kid, a guy in the neighbourhood would hang his kill from a tree in his backyard to drain. Us guys would ride our bikes over to lean on the fence and look at it. Morbid kids!
He gave my dad meat a few times and we had burgers. It's a bit gamey. Like you know it's not beef. I've also had horse meat. It's easily found in most Dutch shops. My dad bought it all the time, as well as pickled herring.
Sorry still trying to get caught up!

Horse meat? Awwww man I don’t know about eating mr. ed but if I didn’t know what it was I would try it. I have had black pudding which I’m sure you have and know what it is. I loved it. Everything was expensive where we lived in WY because it was near Jackson hole. Seems we always live in vacation destinations lmao (it’s not a good thing)

Lol oh I know. Part of a Scottish breakfast! I've tried it, did not like it. It looked like a bloody hockey puck to me.
Horse is ok. I don't have any attachments to them so I didn't feel bad.

I've had Moose steak before and it was good, though I prefer Bison if I want something unusual. Already have two deer in the freezer this year, venison is by far my favorite meat. There is rarely any fat on it at all and I grew up on it so it's not "different" to me. I think that jerky was just made poorly, I make my own jerky because most of the stuff you can buy is so full of preservatives it ruins the flavor. But we try and live off the land as much as possible, saves a ton of money filling the freezers up with venison that's for sure!

I do like bison and venison. My fave meat has been elk. It’s just delicious to me. But I’ll cook anything. And I’ll try most anything.

They are bigger than quail, roughly the size of a chicken, but with beautiful feathers as you can see.

I think my all time favorite meat of any kind would have to be pheasant. I do also really love sea food but I'll stick to land animals for this conversation lol. My grandfather used to own part of a hunting club in Cali called Comanche Hills. Grew up hunting pheasant there and I really wish there was a good place here in Missouri to hunt them. I used to train the hunting dogs we would rent out to the rich facks, some of the best times of my childhood right there :)

About 7 AM one morning in spring, doing my old job. I looked out this door constantly. Saw a lot of wild turkeys too. I love observing nature. Also warehouses have no windows, all artificial lighting. I just plain like looking out the window.

Oh the Bambi's you or the Mrs have got you mean?
Know the story on this picture? Apparently it was an old couple. They pulled it for breakfast, they had no idea! Someone had to tell them about the deer. The old man remarked 'it did seem to be running a bit hot'.
It's funny, but my immediate thought was that it could've been someone's child.

Old folks, maybe had the classical or smooth jazz blasting.
My scrapyard self will tell you it's a Lincoln Continental. I've dismantled them. I kept a book, and over seven years I took apart just over 2000 cars.

Oh no, you're right they're the same. I didn't mean it to correct you or anything. I can just glance at a car and know what it is, even half mangled because I've seen a lot.

No problem, I know you weren't being mean or anything. I used to be good at naming cars. But, there is too many foreign cars here now. I just stick with the " Big 3". If they are even American anymore.

Mostly American. I miss the big 4, I liked AMC cars.
