The last time I went was in 2009. I don't know about a renaissance fair. I wouldn't doubt they have one each year. I know the park is horse friendly, with a camp ground for horse riding. I grew up and live in the Cincinnati area, which is northern Kentucky. At the time I was there, they were upgrading the visitor center among other things. It's a nice destination to go to. And there is a Corvette museum, and the Corvette plant nearby.
