Funny story...I grew up in Ohio where we always had snow for Christmas. Plus, I had never been away from home for Christmas until I went to basic training in San Diego. We graduated the second week of December and it was really weird seeing Christmas decorations on palm trees!

I live near Cincinnati, a couple of Christmas' hit the 70's in my life. I think San Antonio has a big boat Christmas parade. That's on my bucket list. Since you mentioned San Diego.

In Phoenix I think more people go all out decorating their house. Probably because we’re not doing it in winter weather.

I believe you could be right. I would do the same thing.

Lol. Some of my neighbors have them up all year. It's funny to see them on during the Summer, because obviously, someone flipped the wrong switch.

It's fun you say that. I worked on a construction job for a playplace type franchise. They had the speaker system working towards the end of the job. They played kids Christmas music. "Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer" must have played every half hour. After 8 hours a day for weeks, I had enough of that song. I can't stand it today.
