I'm positive that their timing is deliberately "off." I'm no musician but I think they lag a beat or two just to throw off people trying to synch with them at parties. 'Cause man, it sure works! Getting it right, when to come in, when to jump, so to speak, is impossible for most people, even sober... Can't think of another band for which this is so true, so often. Can you?
