Now the premise of your meme? Quite a stretch. Based on the president's disdain for the press, it is a believable satire. Hillary beating up on CNN makes no sense. The closest she's come to dissing the press is when she'd fart, and then, only because she had them, especially CNN, in her back pocket. (I'll let you pause for a moment and picture CNN having to survive a close encounter with a Hillary Fart)

I just find the premise of the meme fake news. First, if CNN is so left wing, you better believe that such a video would be trashed and the poster threatened with exposure. Based on the premise of your meme, they'd realize it was a case similar to the recent Stephan Marks anti-Trump graffiti crime. A trump supporter trying to make liberals look bad. CNN likely would have no problem with that. Truthfully, HanAssholeSolo probably wouldn't have a problem with it. The video was not something that would cause his life to be threatened. The only thing he is afraid of is others looking into his past due to racist and anti-semantic posts. But CNN doesn't have to release anything. They just used the information available online to track him down. So have others, before he deleted all of his posts. I haven't done a search on it, but it doesn't take much to discover, for example, that he lives in Oakland, TN and has a CCW. There are people who know who he is. He left quite a trail.

But I guess, you can only intimidate those that are guilty of something.

I remember a few years ago one of the newspapers here in Tennessee drew a lot of flak from conservitards for publishing the name of every weapon carry permit holder (this was before the state allowed open carry without a permit) in the state... until folks realized all that information was already public record. It even says right on the permit application that the permit and even the application itself are public record. Then like a week later they were on to the next poutrage over some rap song or something.

My point in all this is to say that most folks don't really understand just how much of their lives are public record and freely available to anyone. I mean, just think about how a kid in high school gave Secretary of Defense Mattis a call on his personal cellphone because his number was public record.

I know. A usenet group I was in some years ago had a troll much like Han. Every freaking e-mail chain letter he go he took for absolute truth. He got pissed at me because it was so easy to dispute the claims. He started shouting "Fake News", especially if I used Snopes, so I used other sources.

As for me, I know much of my life info is available online. It doesn't bother me. It wouldn't take much looking to find me. And what happens when they do? They tried blackmailing me for having posted porn in porn groups. No secret. How did I handle their threats? "So what". Han, on the other hand, left a trail of embarrassing posts that, should somebody get his name, could actually put his life in danger. I try not to post anything that I would be ashamed of. Monitored by the government? And...? I know the FBI was monitoring my activities 20 years ago because I had a site that featured religious parody, but they weren't sure. Offended? No way. I never put anything there that would get me in trouble. Possible infringement of my First Amendment rights? Only if they tried to shut me down. I suspect the good people at Hormel might have gotten a visit, just to make sure we weren't affiliated. We weren't. In fact, while they wouldn't go on record, they thought is was "kinda funny" so, at a time when they were suing everyone for misusing the name Spam, I was left alone. I even put a thank you on the first page of the site.

Han, on the other hand, needs to be fearful. I suspect that the paranoia will get to him first and he may use his gun inappropriately, where he would no longer have 2nd Amendment protections.
