People will twist their arm in an effort to make Christianity sound like it is calling violence towards gays. And then those same people will say that sharia law is not bad, that it is just taken out of context.
I am not referring to anyone here. I am referring to people from YouTube comments and a few in real life. On YouTube this one person said that Islamic countries actually gave women rights before western countries. And that the full body veil they wear gives them freedom. ...... I am better off teaching a rock to spout wings and fly than to point out with evidence how their statement is wrong.
As a strict atheist, I don't support religious rule. I don't think Christianity or Islam should be a government of any kind. However, that also doesn't mean doing actions hurting Christians or Muslims.
