I've heard that after many studies, the conclusion is that we do drive on the wrong side of the road. Figures that we got that wrong.

We also read words the other way around!

I actually hate when other people put it MM/DD/YYYY or in other formats, sometimes you figure it out, sometimes you can't because the day holds for less than 12.

I don't even write dates like that either. It was pretty simple to put it in the text bubble. I use a dash in between the days, months and years. Previously when I was using a slash, many dates in January and November looked f@cked up.

Self referencing?

I thought Americans use MM/DD/YYYY. Canadians or British use DD/MM/YYYY. But I prefer YYYY/MM/DD which seems more clear to me, anyway.

Use YYYYMMDD at the front of a file/folder and you'll always have it in chronological order (or reverse chronological order). YAY OCD!

I'm American and on my driver's license the expiration date and my birthday are listed month, day, then year. Seems the correct way to me, but it's all I've known.

I find that confusing. Blame who ever wrote that software.
