Then, I o my pal has my $$ for renting my equipment, and that's 30 minutes up Ga 400 to Dawsonville! And it's Friday! I do not like being out and about after 12:00 noon on Fridays here, period! Everyone will be rushing up to Lake Lanier up Ga 400, same way I hopefully have to go! Arrgh! Hopefully I'll get everything done early, we'll see!

Thanks! My mother was an Interior Designer, she sewed custom drapes etc. down in her sewing room in the house. I used to go help her install everything at her clients houses, one thing I picked up on was balance, you know, not making the room (or meme in this case) look too "Busy." It's so easy to overdo a meme and have too much clutter, you know?

That's interesting. I've been thinking about that topic lately: what is it helpful to be good at in order to make good memes?

We'll use this meme as an example, look particularly at how I placed the Ponies, people told me I should of stuffed more in, but it would have appeared crowded. Now, I'm not perfect or anything (Don't try either) but if you look at my memes I'm constantly moving the text, getting it outta the way of things so the important bits can be seen. Also I move the text and also deciding how much text I want on the top and bottom boxes. I try to go for something that either pleases my eye or something neutral, some placement(s) of things bother me (my eye), so I move things around till I'm satisfied. Every meme i mess with text shading, text size, I mean everything till I'm happy! I have to have the lower case lettering enabled, all block letters make it harder to read and I don't like the way it looks on a meme.

I for one have an answer to that - I'm a student, and the amount of stupid things people do is enough to fill the front page 50 times over!
