Does anyone remember this vehicle?

Hey, I had one of those. Worth every penny I spent to buy it: Free! Drove it for two years and three speeding tickets.

You could put most of AMC's V8s, up to 401 c.i., in the Gremlins.

Yeah, but it's an AMC. If you look at it long enough you could see it rusting.

My parents had a 72 gremlin, 77 hornet, a pacer and I think an ambassador. AMC was mediocrity at its best....if that's possible

Even so, for the 1972 - 1975 model years, the AMC Gremlin outsold the Ford Mustang. Sure is damn funny one cannot find anyone willing to admit ever owning a Gremlin.

401 interceptor that barely fits under the hood. If you race him and win, are you gonna brag to your friends that you beat a Gremlin?

Or if you race him and lose, are you gonna tell your friends you got BEAT by a Gremlin?

AMC Made pretty fair cars :)

They made decent, low cost transportation specials. If someone had an AMC they did so because they needed to go from point A to B and back, for a low cost. They had a few flashy cars, but, for the most part,they were more utilitartian
