I've never seen that photo. MJ should have just froze his weirdness right there.

Anytime articles/tabloids use an MJ picture, they almost always use the worst ones of him to make him look bad/weird :/. Otherwise he pretty much looked the same from the 90s onwards... except he got older and put on a bit of weight (HIStory Tour will prove that), and lost quite a bit too ('98 onwards... in some photos he looks really skinny (like 2003-2005, 2009...) but he was naturally slim anyways from all that dancing lol)

I just recently learned that MJ had Lupus! I am dealing with getting my Lupus diagnosis and was shocked to hear about his. It explains so much to me about why he was self conscious about his skin etc. :-(

yes you're right (along with Vitiligo I might add)! glad to know you learned something new that could help with your personal stuff ("problem" and "issue" don't seem like the right words). Sorry you got diagnosed with Lupus, there's so many types and I don't know which one you have. I saw a picture of MJ with a huge wound on his leg... some say it's a spider bite while others say it's lupus/necrosis. Another photo of MJ with lupus is one from the early 80s where he has rosy cheeks (I will admit he looks cute there lol). Not sure if you've seen these photos... Hope your lupus isn't as bad as the random wounds showing up ?

I have the rosy cheeks as well, I did see those pics. We are still in the process of blood work to see if I'm dealing with only skin Lupus or the type to attack my organs. I am hopeful that it's only skin!!!

The media and the public teased him about his skin (I think his father did too). Not any better is it? :( but he was a very strong person, every time they brought him down, he got back up! Except he was still very hurt and broken-hearted :(
